- Check the online status of the base unit.
Log into the online administration(my.eventnet.de) and check the status of your base unit there. Normally, it should be displayed with the status "online". - Check network cable between base device and DSL router.
Make sure that the connection cable with the Internet signal is plugged into port "1" or "WAN" (depending on the device type) of the Eventnet base device. - Restart the Eventnet base unit and the Internet router.
Disconnect the Eventnet base unit and your Internet router from the power. Now reconnect the router first and then the base device to the power. Wait for about 10 minutes. - Function test with alternative device
Sometimes the connection problem is due to the end device. Test the connection with another device to see if access to the Internet then works. If it works with the alternative device, the problem lies with the original device (e.g. static IP address or firewall settings). Then ask the administrator of the respective device for assistance. - Network cable test with a notebook
Test the connection cable with the Internet signal by plugging it into the network port of a notebook. Then deactivate the WiFi on this notebook and test whether an Internet connection is established.If no connection is possible, there could be a problem with the Internet router. Connect the notebook directly to the Internet router and check whether an Internet connection is possible.
