What is the Technical Check? #

With the technology check, they can check whether the technical requirements for participation via our webcast platform are met.

How to Use the Tech Check #

Start of the Technical Inspection #

The technology check can be started in several ways.

Automatically when entering a session #

If the organizer has set the event accordingly, the technology check will automatically appear when a user enters a session for the first time.

Manually within the session #

You can manually start the technique check within a session by clicking on the "?" icon in the upper right corner and selecting the "Technique check" menu item manually

Manually and independently of a session #

If the organizer has switched off the technical check or you do not yet have session access, you can have your technical requirements checked here.

What does the technical inspection check? #

The check includes three steps in which the compatibility of the operating system and the browser as well as the Internet speed are automatically checked.

What does the technical inspection not cover? #

Currently, only the requirements for participation in a livestream are checked. The checking of further prerequisites for active participation via webcam, screensharing, microphone as well as a differentiation of which checks are carried out depending on the planned content is being planned.

Procedure for the Technical Inspection #

The technology check starts automatically after being called up and performs all checks automatically.

Technique Check PopUp

You can close a running check by clicking on the X in the upper right corner or by clicking on "Skip".

After the technology check has been completed, the check can either be repeated or closed. To do this, press Repeat Check or Close Tech Check under Next Steps.

Important: A successful technique check is not a guarantee, but an indicator that you will be able to participate in the session without any problems.

If the technology check is not successful, please check the stability of your Internet connection and change browsers if necessary (more detailed information on supported browsers and devices can be found here).

If the check is not successful, you can repeat the check, open the service portal directly, or close the technology check - participation in the event is still possible. However, connection problems as well as problems with some functions may occur under certain circumstances.
