A Virtual Private Network (VPN) enables secure access to a remote network - ideal for home offices and remote access to company networks. There are different types of VPN.

Here we show the configuration for “L2TP/IPSec”. #

1. Open Windows Settings #

Open the settings via Start

2. Networks and the Internet #

Navigate to the network settings

3. Create a VPN connection #

Select "VPN" and click on "Add VPN connection"

4. Enter connection details #

You will receive the data marked in green from the operator of the VPN server.

Save #

Activate "Save login information" and click on "Save"

Important Note #

You will receive the user name, password and pre-installed key from your administrator or VPN server.
